Register for Support with Maidstone Borough Council
Maidstone Borough Council has created a Community Support Hub to provide a coordinated response to help provide and deliver essentials to people across the borough who are most in need.
Those who need help from the MBC Community Support Hub can call freephone: Community Hub Triage (Freephone 0300 303 1650) or can contact us via the the MBC website. The Maidstone Borough Council Community Hub will have a specific focus on providing access to food, medicines and other supplies and will be open Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5pm.

Nettlestead Parish Council
Volunteers of Nettlestead Parish Council in Marden can assist those who are vulnerable and self-isolating in their homes by picking up urgent supplies such as food, medical prescriptions and carrying out tasks such as posting letters and making friendly calls.

Staplehurst Parish Council Emergency Help Team
The Staplehurst Emergency Help Team can help those who are most vulnerable in the community with shopping requests, delivering food parcels, collecting prescriptions from the local chemist and delivering them to individual houses on a daily basis as well as basic errands like posting letters or collecting newspapers. The volunteers will also be happy to make a phone call for a chat and to keep spirits up. The team is working closely with KCC, MBC, other partners and local groups and companies.

Benenden Action Team
Benenden Action Team (BAT) has now over 150 local volunteers throughout the Parish to assist as friendly neighbours with picking up food and prescriptions, as well as making a friendly phone call to help with the loneliness of isolation.
BAT is also launching a new initiative to support vulnerable people and families with free vouchers that they can spend locally in our community shop or butchers.
