As a part of our National Lottery funded Reaching Communities programme, Mid Kent Mind have been offering a weekly Wellbeing Café to young people between the ages of nine and eighteen – providing opportunities to benefit from peer to peer support.
As we enter the next phase of the Reaching Communities programme, we will be adapting this programme to better support the young people we are working with. From the 6th of April, the Wellbeing Café will now be split to provide two different age-groups with support. We hope that by splitting the programme, we will enable young people to better-access support which is relevant for their age groups.
This means that the Tuesday evening sessions will now be split into one session, from 4pm – 5pm, for young people between the ages of 9 and 13, and an additional session, from 5:30pm – 6:30pm, for young people between the ages of 14 and 18.
