Healthy Living Centre Maidstone
Gary Cooke, the Chair of Fusion commented on how sad we were to learn of the passing of our former trustee Ian Pearce, who was a trustee with Fusion for just over six years.
Ian was a keen indoor bowler and helped run the indoor short mat bowls club that was based at Heather House. He lived locally and was a strong voice on our board for all our senior citizens and a strong voice for the residents of Shepway.
He was incredibly supportive of the work and services that Fusion provides to all our local communities and I remember well sitting with him in his front room, some years ago now, when he told me that he was going to have to resign as a trustee due to his advancing years and health issues. His principal concern was that he was worried that he would be letting people down.
On behalf of all the trustees, staff and volunteers and his many friends at Fusion, I send my deepest condolences on Ian’s passing to all of his family and friends. Rest in peace Ian and God Bless You.
